International Bachelor’s Program: A Pathway to Becoming Global Citizens

Particularly, choosing an international Bachelor’s program can greatly assist students in their journey of integration and self-development.

The advantages of the academic program

When enrolled in international Bachelor’s programs, students undergo comprehensive development in professional knowledge, language proficiency, soft skills, and a global mindset.

The University of Gloucestershire Vietnam (UoG Vietnam) is a collaborative program between Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF) and the University of Gloucestershire (UoG), UK. This program offers significant advantages, allowing students to experience an international study environment right in Vietnam. By enrolling in this international Bachelor’s program, students will earn internationally recognized degrees issued by UoG and endorsed by the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training.

Lecturers are experts from the UK and the US with extensive practical experience in both professional practice and scientific research. By offering a 100% English-taught curriculum, students can enhance their language proficiency and broaden their knowledge through access to international resources.

In particular, the abroad semester program, student exchange, and pathway programs offer students opportunities to study at prestigious universities in the UK, the US, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, etc,. This provides students with valuable opportunities to exchange knowledge and culture with international peers.

Alongside the academic programs, a network of over a thousand domestic and international enterprises offers students a variety of activities, including job shadowing, internships, workshops, and more, at large enterprises and multinational corporations.

According to Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc - Director of Gloucestershire Vietnam, “Students have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience through internships at large enterprises in Vietnam, starting from their third and fourth years. By enrolling in an international program, graduates will be equipped to work either abroad, or in Vietnam. The university, therefore, adopts flexible approaches to organizing training sessions for students of collaborative programs.”

The strengths of the international Bachelor’s program will provide a solid foundation for students to become global citizens.

Scholarships up to 180 million VND

With a stable tuition fee of approximately 55 million VND per semester throughout the entire course, students can save up to 70% on tuition fees and reduce total living costs to 1/10th of those incurred when studying abroad. Candidates who register early will be eligible for scholarships ranging from 25% to 50%, or even up to 100%.

25% scholarship

Scholarship requirements: High school exam scores from 21 to under 25; Grade 12 transcripts from 24 to under 26; Competency assessment exam scores from 890 to under 960; IELTS at least 6.0.
Scholarship maintenance requirements: the cumulative GPA per year must be at least 3.2 and skills points must be 65 or above.

100% scholarship
Scholarship requirements: High school exam scores from 27 to under 30; Grade 12 transcripts from 29 to under 30; Competency assessment exam scores from 1080 to under 1200; IELTS at least 7.5.

Scholarship maintenance requirements: the cumulative GPA per year must be at least 3.7 and skills point must be 65 or above. If the GPA is from 3.2 to under 3.5, the students will get a 25% scholarship.  If the GPA is from 3.5 to under 3.7, the students will get a 50% scholarship. 

	Note: Entrance scholarship is only applicable in phase I (the first two years) of the program.

Students with an IELTS certificate of 6.0 or higher will receive a tuition reduction ranging from 25% to 100%.

	Additionally, students with an IELTS certificate of 5.0 or higher, or an equivalent qualification, will receive a reduction in English proficiency levels from

	level 5 to level 7, equivalent to 68 million VND.
 
The University of Gloucestershire Vietnam is now accepting 2024 enrollment applications for high-demand fields such as English Language and Linguistics,

	Business and Marketing Management, International Hospitality and Tourism Management, International Business, and Multimedia Communication.
 
Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc also shared that, this academic year, UEF will offer training programs in Logistics Management and Financial Accounting.

	To enhance the learning experience, the university has strengthened its partnership with UoG through faculty and student exchange programs,

	a summer semester in the UK, and co-teaching classes between the two institutions.
