Opportunity to participate in International Summer Camp in China 2025 for UEFers

With the aim to provide UEFers with the opportunity to experience an international academic environment, enhance their global integration skills, and broaden their multicultural mindset, UEF is partnering with Shandong University in China to launch the 2025 International Summer Camp for students from multiple countries. For UEFers in particular, 30 fully sponsored spots covering expenses in China will be offered.
The summer camp will take place from August 11 to August 25 at Shandong University—one of China’s oldest and most prestigious universities—located in Jinan City, Shandong Province. This annual program is part of UEF’s international exchange activities aimed at expanding students’ opportunities for learning, personal development, and multicultural experiences.
The program includes full sponsorship of tuition, dormitory accommodation, meals, daily living expenses, and participation in tours and exchange activities in China. Students will only need to cover airfare, visa fees, UEF administrative fees, and other personal expenses.
Eligible participants are full-time undergraduate students currently enrolled at UEF who possess an HSK certificate (no specific level required) or an HSK registration code if they are awaiting the exam.

Students participating in the summer camp will have the opportunity for study and academic exchange with international friends

During the summer camp, students will have the opportunity to attend language classes and immerse themselves in Chinese culture through a variety of activities such as calligraphy, martial arts, painting, singing, and more. They will also engage in academic exchanges with international students and native-speaking instructors. In addition to academic activities, the camp offers hands-on experiences through visits to local enterprises and famous landmarks across China, enriching students’ understanding of the country and its culture.

Beyond its linguistic and cultural value, the program also helps students enhance soft skills, teamwork abilities, language reflexes, global thinking, and adaptability in an international environment. It serves as a strong foundation for UEFers to build a standout personal profile and academic portfolio, supporting them in pursuing prestigious titles such as “Five-Good Student” or applying for international scholarships in the future.
