Orientation for Chinese Language UEF and HUTECH students

Last December 15, the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities in collaboration with UEF Linguistics and Cultures organized a workshop “Effective learning tips for the Chinese Language” in order to create an academic forum with discussions and sharing experiences about the teaching method, effective learning tips for Chinese studies, as well as to build a linkage between lecturers and students of the two universities: UEF and HUTECH.

Amazing performances in the program

The event took place in an exciting and cheerful atmosphere, with the active participation of many students from the two universities. At the workshop, lecturers of the two institutions together gave responses and advice to the students on the related matters of Chinese studies such as: How difficult is the Chinese language and How to approach an effective way to study? How to make pronunciation and native accent in a fluent and natural way? How do cultural, historical, and social factors influence the studying way? In addition, participants had the chance to share their own experiences and feelings about studying the Chinese language and culture with each other.

The Lecturers share the method of learning Chinese

The most fascinating and expected activity of the event is the game and quiz session. In the mini-test “Exploring the Chinese Culture”, students had a joyful opportunity to understand the rich culture, a long history as well as an interesting country and people of China. Hence, their studying spirit has been much motivated upon receiving lots of gifts and encouragement.

From the sharing of lecturers and guest speakers, both UE and HUTECH students have more passion and motivation to study Chinese in the most effective way. It is believed that the event would be meaningful assistance with useful knowledge for the 4-year university period of the students.
