The ASEAN Online Youth Conference 2025, themed “From Awareness to Action: Youth in the Global Sustainable Development Movement,” is an inspiring event that underscores the vital role of young people in tackling sustainability challenges. Among the distinguished speakers is Le Nguyen Sao Bang, a third-year student from UEF’s Faculty of English, who will represent UEF in this prestigious forum.
FEBRUARY 27 - The conference is co-organized by the International Tertiary Education Association (ITEA) and Politeknik Ungku Omar (PUO) and will take place online. Its primary goal is to create a platform for networking and dialogue among young ASEAN leaders, providing opportunities for regional and international youth to exchange knowledge, share experiences, and present innovative ideas for sustainable solutions in the future.
One of the most anticipated segments of the conference is the student presentations, featuring talented young representatives from across ASEAN, including Le Nguyen Sao Bang from UEF. She is an outstanding student who has grown through innovation and entrepreneurship activities in the Project Design course. Her impressive achievements include competing in prestigious international competitions such as "Service Solution Design 2023" in Thailand and "The 9th International Students Start-up Conference" in South Korea, where she earned the "Innovative Idea Award." Additionally, she has consistently demonstrated outstanding academic performance throughout her studies at UEF.
The conference will feature keynote speeches from leading experts in sustainable development. Additionally, student presentations will be divided into multiple sessions, allowing attendees to explore various aspects of tackling complex sustainability challenges. The knowledge and experiences gained from the event are expected to enhance awareness of sustainability issues and encourage young people to take concrete actions toward a more sustainable future.
