03/25/2025
MARCH 24 - Following the international collaborative series activities aimed to provide UEFers with a variety of academic and modern experiences, Faculty of Public Relations and Communication (PRC) collaborated with Nanhua University (Taiwan) to organize a co-teaching class for the Marketing Communication course with the theme “Exploration storytelling marketing.”
PRCers enriched their knowledge on exploration storytelling marketing through international online co-teaching class
From Nanhua University, Dr. Lin Lun Chuan (Charles Lin), Deputy Director of the Office of International and Cross-Strait Affairs, and Director of the International Academic Program Office, provided PRCers with in-depth insights and expertise in the field of storytelling marketing. The knowledge and practical experience he shared have introduced a fresh and promising approach for UEFers in their learning and research journey.
On behalf of UEF Faculty of Public Relations and Communication, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Van, Deputy Dean, together with faculty members participated in the co-teaching class to help UEFers gain significant knowledge and effective interaction with the keynote speaker.
During the co-teaching class, Dr. Charles Lin shared in-depth insights on “storytelling marketing”, an essential tool for building corporate identity and expanding brand influence globally. According to him,  in today's highly competitive market, personal branding and authentic, human-centered storytelling are key factors in attracting and retaining customers.

The key highlights in the lessons were vividly delivered

The keynote speaker analysed the core factors of “storytelling marketing” including characters, conflicts, and solutions, while emphasizing a successful storytelling marketing need to address issues that concern the public and convey the company's message in a compelling and strategic manner.
Mr. Charles Lin also emphasized the significance of authenticity and honesty in “storytelling marketing” campaigns. According to him, in an era where consumers are becoming increasingly savvy and cautious, building trust is the key to establishing long-term relationships with customers. Therefore, businesses must ensure that the stories they tell are genuine and valuable, avoiding misinformation or exaggeration of the truth.
PRCers actively questioned and clarify the remaining concerns about the theme

The “Exploration Storytelling Marketing” co-teaching class concluded with valuable knowledge, and unlocked new perspectives on marketing communication for UEFers. With the practical theme, the co-teaching class promised to be the fundamental foundation for more collaborations between UEF and Nanhua University, providing UEFers with various international standard future prospects.
