Six Students Embark on International Internship in Japan,Carrying the Hopes of UEF and Their Families

Dr. Vo Van Thanh Than - Head, Faculty of Language and International Cultures;, Ms. Nguyen Tran Vu Thu, Mr. Hoang Vu Duc – Lecturer of Japanese language, and lecturers of the Center of Corporate Partnerships participated in seeing off the students. On the partner side, there is Mr. Nguyen Phuong Trinh, Director of IFK Company.




Family, friends, and UEF lecturers see off UEFers on an important journey.

Six students participating in the "going abroad" program in this round are Do Nguyen Cam Vy, Lai Khiet Anh, Dao Thi Quynh Huong, Phan Thi Mai Quynh, Vuong Cat Phung, and Tran Boi Linh. Among them, Do Nguyen Cam Vy is currently a student in the class of 2021. The remaining students are all from the class of 2020, majoring in Japanese Language at UEF.

After landing in Japan, students will be placed in internships at large hotels such as Senoumi Betsutei Umiusagi, Kagetsutei, and Oyado Zuiyo Hotel respectively. At these hotels, they will have the opportunity to gain practical experience through paid work. This is not only an opportunity for UEFers to continuously improve their experience and knowledge of Japan and its culture, but also a chance for them to expand their relationships and strengthen connections with native people. As a result, they will improve their skills and proficiency in the Japanese language.


Students will practice at the prestigiousreputable Japanese hotels. 

As he saw off the student groups, Dr. Vo Van Thanh Than did not forget to offer practical advice. He said: "After a long period of studying in Vietnam, this internship is an opportunity for you to experience a real-world environment, interact and work directly with native people, and earn a substantial income for yourselves. During this trip, I hope you will always unite and support each other, both at work and in daily life. Remember that you will always receive strong support from your family. Let's strive to make our families proud, make ourselves happy, and continue the good traditions of UEF in the coming years."
 


Dr. Vo Van Thanh Than shareds many tips to help them have a successful internship.

The representative of IFK company, Mr. Nguyen Phuong Trinh, said: "The partner organizations in this round are all places that have hosted many students for internships and work over the past three years. During this trip, the interns will live and work in nearby areas, ensuring both security and convenience. We hope that you will leverage your strengths, communicate proactively, and gain valuable experience from your partners to integrate and progress quickly."

During the meeting, the lecturers actively engaged in discussions and provided sincere encouragement before the students reached an important milestone. The warm relationship between lecturers and students has created a source of great spiritual strength for each, concurrently, contributed to students has created a source of great spiritual strength for each UEFers and has also contributed to strengthening the trust and peace of mind of parents regarding the educational quality that the school strives to maintain and develop.


UEFers showed great determination before the trip.

The trip ended with a mix of emotions. There was joy, nostalgia, and even sadness as the members had to temporarily part ways for an extended period. However, UEF believes they will have a successful and meaningful internship based on what they have accumulated during their studies. We look forward to seeing UEFers next year as they return as better versions of themselves.
