Studying and interning abroad become parts of the curriculum for students

Having just returned from Switzerland after participating in the 2024 Student Ambassador program at the International Management Institute Switzerland (IMI), Thien Hoa, a third-year student majoring in Restaurant and Culinary Management, shared: "After one week, I gained a clearer understanding of what I want to achieve in the future. IMI is where I truly experienced the power of cultural exchange and learning from over 25 countries.
This experience made me realize that learning is not just about acquiring knowledge but also about connecting with the world.”
Integrating practical knowledge with global thinking
Recently, a group of UEFers successfully completed their field trip to Thailand. Through workshops at Bangkok University and Thammasat University, students gained practical knowledge from professors and entrepreneurs, covering economic trends and management strategies.
Additionally, visits to multinational corporations such as CP Group and 7-Eleven provide students with valuable insights into the operations of major enterprises, encompassing areas such as human resource management and the application of technology in business practices.

Study-abroad programs are often accompanied by practical projects that emphasize in-depth professional focus. These experiences enable students to enhance their adaptability, communication skills, and the capacity to work in multicultural environments.
Each country students visit offers a valuable lesson in mindset and work ethic within an international environment.
Like many other students participating in overseas internship programs in Japan, China, and other countries, they integrate into international teams, learning to listen to and respect diverse perspectives.
Through this, they develop the ability to collaborate and innovate, overcoming language and cultural barriers.
These experiences have helped students foster adaptability—a crucial factor for effective decision-making and leadership development.
