“Talent warriors” gathered at Infinity Cheerleading Championships 2020, who are they?

Cheerleading has been heating up among Vietnamese youth which received humorous attention from almost all students across the country. Aiming at enhancing school sporting movement as well as organizing a competition to mark the 71th anniversary of Traditional Day of Vietnamese students and the 90th anniversary of Vietnamese Students’ Association, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF) and International Bilingual Royal School co-organized to launch the “Infinity Cheer Championships (ICC) 2020” gymnastics tournament.

The tournament has gathered 11 teams who have passion for cheerleading sport. “Infinity Cheer Championships (ICC) 2020” is regarded as a meeting chance for those who are active and desirous of mindful playgrounds and sports. Let’s review some highlighted information about all talented warriors of this year’s tournament. 


Infinity Cheerleading Championships 2020 promise to "burn it up" with young talents

RUMBO CHEERLEADING SQUAD

The very first warriors of the ICC 2020 tournament are Rumbo “owls”. Established in 2011 by University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University - Hanoi, until now, Rumbo club has run for 10 years. Rumbo is extremely famous in the Vietnamese cheerleading community thanks to passion of youth and burning-out spirit on stage. 



"Owls" of Rumbo Club from University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University - Hanoi are the first participants of this year's tournaments.

Rumbo Club has been affirming its reputation by gaining proud achievements from national competitions, including Second Prize of northern area in “ Art-Sporting-Esthetic Student tournament 2011”; Second Prize of northern area in “Art-Sporting-Esthetic Student tournament 2012”; First Prize of northern area in “Art-Sports-Esthetic Student tournament 2013” and Third Prize of national round in “Student Art-Sporting-Esthetic Student tournament 2013”; Fourth Prize in “Ho Chi Minh Cheerleading Competition in 2014”; First Prize of northern area and “The most popular team” Award in national competition named “Chung sức vì Tài sắc Việt” (Work together for Vietnamesse talent and beauty); Third Prize in “Unigames Cheerdance”; First Prize in “The stunt like a beast champion level 4” in 2016 competition; Second Prize in “I’m Cheerleader 2016” competition; Champion of “VNU Gottalent 2017”; Second Prize in “VNU Hotstep 2017” competition; “The Most Popular Team” and “The Impressive Team” Awards in “VNU Hotstep 2017”; Second Prize in “Team cheer Vietnam Cheerleading Championship 2017” in Ho Chi Minh city; Third Prize in “GroupStunt Vietnam Cheerleading Championship 2017” in Ho Chi Minh city; First Prize in “CheerTeam, Hanoi Cheerleading Championships Open 2018”; First Prize and Second Prize in “Groupstunt Allgirls Hanoi Cheerleading Championships Open 2018”, Second and Third Prize in “Group Stunt Coed Lv5 Hanoi Cheerleading Championships Open 2018”; Second Prize in “Cheerteam ICC 2018”. 


2. ALLSTARS CHEERLEADING TEAM

Another team participated in this year's competition comes from University of Economics - Vietnam National University - Hanoi. ALLSTARS CHEERLEADING TEAMS groups all those who are passionate about Cheerleading. For 10 years of running, Allstars cheerleaders have constantly been making efforts and growing. The club has gained achievements in-and-out of university, such as First Prize of northern area in “U League Art-Sporting-Esthetic Student tournament 2011” and participated in national final tournament in Ho Chi Minh city; Second Prize and Third Prize of Northern area in U League Cheerleading 2013” and “U League Cheerleading 2014”; Second Prize in “Group Stunt level 4 Infinite Cheer Championships 2018 (ICC)”; Second Prize in “Hanoi Youth Aerobics and Cheerleading clubs Festival'', Second Prize in “Group Stunt level 4 Vietnam Cheer Fest 2019 (VNCF)” competition; Third Prize in “Group Stunt Allgirls Vietnam Cheer Fest 2019 (VNCF)”.

3. BIG BULLS CHEERLEADING TEAM

Established in 2018, Bigbulls is a freely-operated team which connects Hanoi cheerleaders. They also achieved noticeable successes although they are a newly-born team. Let’s review achievements that they have gained from some competitions, such as Golden medal in “Cheer Team level 4 - Infinity Cheerleading Championship (2018)”, Bronze medal in “Cheer Team level 5 - Thailand CheerForce Cheerleading Championship 2019”, First Prize in “Coed Group Stunt level 4 - National Virtual Championship ONP Mexico (2020)”

4. RED STORM CHEERLEADING TEAM

RED STORM was established in 2018 by students at Hanoi University of Industrial Fine Art and Hanoi University of Water Resources. 2 years later since establishment, “Bão Đỏ” (RED STORM'' has gained proud achievements, such as Winner of “Groupstunt Level 4 - HCCO 2018” in Hanoi; Second Runner-Up in “Cheer Team Level 4 - HCCO 2018”; First Prize in THUY LOI Got Talent 2018”; Second Prize in “Hanoi Youth Aerobics and Cheerleading clubs Festival 2018”; First Runner-Up in “Groupstunt Level 5 - ICC 2018” in Ho Chi Minh City; First Runner-Up in “Group Stunt Level 5 - Vietnam Cheerfest 2018” in Ho Chi Minh city; First Prize in “Hanoi Cheering Competition 2019” in Hanoi; Second Runner-Up in “Group Stunt Level 4 - Vietnam Cheerfest 2019” in Ho Chi Minh city.

UNTER CHEERLEADING SQUAD

HUNTER CHEERLEADING SQUAD belongs to UEF who is the host of this year’s tournament. Established in 2017, the team is rookie of Cheerleading fest. For 3 years of operation, HUNTER CHEERLEADING SQUAD has achieved certain successes and assert its name in UEF. The team has gained opportunities to participate in tournament such as Tiger Street Football Cup (2019), Samsung Sporting Tournament, Viet Capital Bank’s Sport day (2019), Redbull Street Workout Championship (2019), Honda Airblade 150i (2019-2020), “Ai là số 1” gameshow (“Who is number one?” game show) (broadcast on Vie Channel - HTV2).

6. ACES CHEERLEADING TEAM

Established in the end of 2017, located in Ho Chi Minh city, ACES is a freely-operated team which is a “home” of enthusiastic and passionate cheerleading members. By passion and unstoppable effort, ACES gained honourable achievements including First Prize in Group Stunt LV5 (ICC 2018), First Prize in Group Stunt LV5 (Vietnam Cheer Fest 2018), First Prize in Group Stunt LV5 (RMIT 2019), First Prize in Group Stunt LV5 (Vietnam Cheer Fest 2019). With all these achievements, ACES proves itself as one of the formidable opponents in this year’s tournament.

7. FOXY SQUAD

Established in 2014, FOXY is a Cheerleading team which comes from Fooreign Trade University - Ho Chi Minh City Campus. Keen on performing and desirous on stirring up atmosphere, FOXY has won some competitions, such as Silver medal in Pepsi Cheerleading Contest (2015)”, The Encouragement Award in “I'm A Cheerleader (2016)”, Bronze medal in “Group Stunt tại ACIC (2017)”, Cheerteam Champion in “Vietnam Cheerleading Championships” (2017), Bronze medal in “Group Stunt tại Vietnam Cheer Fest” (2018), Runners-Up in “Cheer Team tại Vietnam Cheer Fest” (2018), Third Prize in Infinity Cheer Championships (2018). By focusing on development of technical and dance in Cheerleading, FOXY proposedly gave audiences their best noticeable performances in this year’s tournament.

8. AMBITIOUS-TEEN

Representing the co-organization of ICC 2020 - International Bilingual Royal School, AMBITIUOS-TEEN also participated in this tournament. This is the first time that the representative of Royal School Cheer takes part in Cheer race. Let’s wait for their next performances.

9. THE GUN CHEERLEADING SQUAD

Established in 2016, THE GUN CHEERLEADING SQUAD is a team of young talents from Nguyen Thi Minh Khai high school. 4 years since its establishment, the team has gathered passonated-in-Cheerleading members and gave dynamic, fancy performances. Advancing their energy, THE GUN has achieved some noticeable prizes. In 2017, THE GUN won Runner-Up Award in “Milo Cup '' tournament land “Vietnam Group Stunt Cheerleading Championship” in Ho Chi Minh city.

10. SAIGON BEAST SQUAD

SAIGON BEAST is one of the most popular names in the Vietnam cheer community. The team has gained both outstanding national and international achievements.

By its , SAIGON BEAST has marked its name in competitions with proud achievements, such as Third Prize in ACIC 2017 - Group Stunt Open Coed Elite In Singapore, Third-Prize in “C3 2017 - Group Stunt Open Coed Elite” in Malaysia, Top six of “ACIC 2018 - Group Stunt Open Coed Elite” in Singapore, Second Prize in “Cheerleading CFCC 2019 – Team Cheer Open Coed Elite” in Thailand, First Prize in “ONP Mexico Virtual Team Cheer Open Coed Advance 2020”, Third Prize in “Dance Fest 2020 (Rebound of the Youth)” held by Ho Chi Minh city Department of Culture and Sports.

11. THE MOVING BULLS SQUAD

Team THE MOBS is about warriors from Tan Binh High School. Established in 2015, the team always fulfills with enthusiasm, burning-out in cheerleading. Let’s take a look at noticeable achievements of THE MOBS. They are Champion of “Yola Gottalent 2016”, Runner-Ups in “The Flashmode Spring Festival 2016”, The Encouragement Award in “Milo Cup 2017”, The Encouragement Award in “Milo Cup 2018”, Runner-Ups in Sony Show 2018, Runner-Ups in “Viet Nam Cheerfest 2018”, The Impressive Team in Milo Cup 2020. 


THE MOBS determine to conquer this ICC 2020 tournament

Cheerleading is known as a school sporting with strong and impressive moves which attracts maficiently to Vietnam youth. The ICC 2020 tournament is an opportunity for the majority of students to freely “burn it up” and live their passion. UEFers follow and fuel the spirit of all participated teams, especially HUNTER CHEERLEADING SQUAD.
