Attending the meeting on the afternoon of September 13, UEF was represented by Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc, Vice President; Prof. Dr. Eric Jose Olmedo Panal - Dean, UEF International Institute and staff from the institute.
Representing KMU were Mr. Shin Sang Soo - Senior Coordinator International Cooperation Team, and Mr. Cho Hyun Wook - Senior Coordinator International Affairs Team.
The two universities discussed the 2024 Winter School exchange program, through which UEFers will study and experience Korean culture over a four-week period.
Representatives from both sides reviewed and reached agreements on details regarding costs, visas, specific activities, and student benefits to ensure a smooth rollout of the program.
In July 2023, UEFers participated in the international exchange program Bridge to Keimyung Camp at KMU, while KMU students visited UEF for cultural exchange activities.
Established in 1954, Keimyung University is a prestigious and highly regarded institution in Daegu, known as one of South Korea's top universities. With these new collaborative proposals, both universities hope to soon launch engaging and meaningful activities for their students.
