JANUARY 7 - Promoting entrepreneurship among students is a key focus for UEF, encouraging young people to confidently apply their knowledge in practical situations and develop holistically. Many UEFers have successfully launched their own projects through entrepreneurship competitions. To expand the creative environment for students in this field, UEF signed an MOU with the Chungcheong SCOUT Consortium, marked an important milestone in the university's international cooperation.

The event was attended by representatives from the Chungcheong SCOUT Consortium, including Mr. Cho Young Cheol, Director of the Startup Cooperation Fund at Chungbuk National University; Mr. Kim Hee Sup, Head of the Startup Support Department at Suncheonhyang University; Mr. Yoo Jeonhoon, Deputy Director of the Startup Support Center at Korea University, Sejong campus, along with managers and representatives from various universities within the consortium.
On behalf of UEF were Mr. Do Quoc Anh - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors; Dr. Nhan Cam Tri - Vice President together with representatives of the Korean Language from the Faculty of Languages and International Cultures, the Center of Corporate Partnerships and other related departments.
In his speech, Dr. Nhan Cam Tri emphasized the importance of international education amidst global integration. He confirmed that UEF is dedicated to expanding its international partnerships to offer students enriching opportunities for learning, cultural exchange, and diverse experiences. Representatives of the Chungcheong SCOUT Consortium also expressed their enthusiasm for collaborating with a dynamic university like UEF and hoped this partnership would lead to groundbreaking achievements in both academics and creative entrepreneurship.

In particular, following the ceremony, students of the two universities were given the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas at the Vietnam-Korea Startup Idea Competition 2025. Four Vietnamese teams and eight South Korean teams presented their startup projects, exchanged innovative ideas, and gained valuable insights from their international peers. This event not only facilitated knowledge sharing but also served as a platform for cultural exchange, helping students build connections, expand their networks, and establish lasting relationships.
