UEF collaborates with Woosong University to discuss Dual Degree Program opportunities in South Korea

FEBRUARY 14, UEF welcomed a delegation of Board of Leaders from Woosong University, South Korea, for collaboration. During the meeting, the two universities discussed the "IDegree Program," a dual degree program developed by Woosong University.

UEF had meeting with Woosong University about the "IDegree Program"
Representing UEF were Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc - Vice President, Prof.Dr. Eric Jose Olmedo Panal - Director of the International Institute.
From Woosong University, the delegation included Mr. Sang Han Kim – University Director (Board Member), Dr. Yoo Taek Lee – Executive Dean of International Schools (SolBridge, Endicott, and JCFS), and Ms. Thi Kim Cuong Le – Regional Manager for Southeast Asia for the IDegree Program and JCFS.
During the session, the representatives from Woosong University introduced the "IDegree Program" and expressed their desire to collaborate with UEF in implementing the program.

Representatives of the two parties discussed the contents of the program
The IDegree Program is designed with the first two years focusing on STEM education, creative and independent thinking, and soft skills development. It offers an online learning experience while incorporating offline components such as corporate projects, discussions, group assignments, and startup models.
Students will complete two years of online study through the IDegree system, followed by two years of on-campus learning at Woosong University or its partner institutions.

UEF representatives stated that further discussions would take place to finalize the collaboration, aiming to provide high-quality international learning opportunities for students in the near future.
