UEF Enhances Global Ties with Clevermann Vietnam and German Hospitality Association (DEHOGA)

APRIL 10 - UEF welcomed a delegation from Clevermann Vietnam, international business partners, and the German Hotel and Restaurant Association (DEHOGA). The visit served not only to strengthen cooperative relationships but also to pave the way for strategic orientation in developing human resources and expanding international career opportunities for UEFers, particularly in tourism, hospitality, and other internationally-oriented service sectors.

The collaboration between UEF and international partners was a great success

Representing UEF were Ms. Nguyen Thai Ha, Deputy Director of the Center of Corporate Partnerships, and Mr. Nguyen Viet Thuy, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management.
From Clevermann Vietnam, the delegation included Dr. Nguyen Vo Minh Khoa, Executive Director; Mrs. Pham Thi Hong Duyen, Deputy Director; Dr. Vo Thuy Nhat Minh, Director of Network Development; and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hoai, Executive Assistant. Also attending were recruitment partners and DEHOGA members: Mr. Philip Nguyen, Mr. Bao Doan, Mr. Benjamin Vu, and Dr. Carsten Frevert.
With an open and collaborative spirit, both parties shared their strategic visions in the context of a rapidly globalizing workforce. Representatives from Clevermann Vietnam and DEHOGA expressed strong interest in the quality of UEF’s education and affirmed their commitment to fostering long-term cooperation through student engagement initiatives with the labor market in Germany and across Europe. The DEHOGA business network is expected to serve as a strong platform connecting UEF graduates with professional international working environments.

During the discussion, UEF emphasized its “Go Global” strategy, which aims not only to expand academic partnerships but also to actively develop international recruitment channels for students. With its strengths in service-oriented disciplines such as tourism and hospitality, as well as emerging fields like economics, management, logistics, and foreign languages, UEF is committed to delivering a learning journey closely aligned with real-world and international career prospects.
On this occasion, Clevermann and international partners also extended their gratitude to the university for its warm welcome and meaningful souvenirs. The delegation expressed appreciation for UEF's professional working style, thorough preparation, and open-minded spirit.
