UEF Faculty of Finance and Accounting partners with CFA Institute USA to unlock new opportunities

MARCH 25 - UEF Faculty of Finance and Accounting had a meeting with CFA Institute USA to discuss the integration of the CFA program into the finance curriculum. This collaboration opens up various new opportunities for both faculty members and UEFers to access international standards in the financial sector.

The meeting between UEF and CFA unlocks strong development opportunities for UEFers majoring in finance

On behalf of the UEF Faculty of Finance and Accounting were Dr. Ha Thi Thuy, Dean; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam, Deputy Dean; and Ms. Duong Thi Vien An, Head of Financial Technology.
During the meeting, both parties discussed future cooperation between UEF and the CFA Institute. Through this collaboration, UEFers will gain numerous benefits, including access to CFA scholarships, extensive study resources from the CFA Institute, and better preparation for CFA Levels 1, 2, and 3 exams. Furthermore, UEF faculty members will have the opportunity to enhance their expertise with specialized study materials and assessments from the CFA Institute.

By participating in the CFA program, UEFers will gain hands-on experience through case studies and practice questions. In particular, the CFA Research Challenge will help students develop critical thinking, presentation skills, and in-depth financial analysis expertise. Additionally, UEFers will have opportunities to connect with CFA-certified professionals, providing a strong foundation for their future careers.
With the aim to encourage UEFers to pursue CFA certification, the CFA Institute offers scholarships that significantly reduce learning costs. Moreover, UEFers can expand their professional networks by engaging with industry experts through seminars, conferences, and exclusive CFA job and internship postings.

Beyond academic training, the CFA Institute also collaborates with UEF on financial and investment research. Both students and lecturers will have access to leading financial journals, advanced research studies, and opportunities to co-author scientific publications.
