UEF Fosters Connections Among Businesses Through the Workshop "The Art of Visual Branding"

In order to connect businesses and expand its network of partners, the UEF Spanish and Latin American Institute, in collaboration with the Faculty of Marketing and various departments, successfully organized the workshop "The Art of Visual Branding" on the afternoon of September 24. The event brought both domestic and international business professionals a variety of fascinating insights surrounding the topic of elevating brand value in the context of a new era.

The workshop "The Art of Visual Branding" was organized to provide business representatives and entrepreneurs with the opportunity to learn from experts. The keynote speaker was Mr. Raj Mayyukh Dam - Creative Director & Brand Marketing Expert. With extensive practical experience and research in marketing and brand development, he participated in the workshop with the mission to equip businesses with the necessary knowledge and tools to create compelling visual brands that attract customers and drive business growth.

Attending the workshop was the Deputy Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Tushar Garg. Other guests, sponsors, and partners included Mr. Tran Duc Dung, Chairman of SIYB Ho Chi Minh City Entrepreneurs Group; Mr. Steven Lu, Co-Founder of VPC Networking and S&V Consulting; Mr. Oscar, Chairman of SCCV Spanish Chamber of Commerce; Mr. Edwin, Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce; Ms. Tran Ngoc Van, CEO of Greentech Company; and Mr. Miguel A. Ferrer, CEO of Renewables & Chief Investment Officer Group at VIoT Group.

Representing UEF were Dr. Nhan Cam Tri, Vice President; Mr. Nguyen Quoc Viet, Director of the UEF Spanish and Latin American Institute; Ms. Huynh Tu Anh, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Marketing, along with students eager to learn and gain new insights from the experts.

Starting his presentation, the expert emphasized to the business representatives and students the importance of building, maintaining, and elevating a brand, especially in an era of continuous innovation. With the growth of social media, businesses have had to adjust their marketing strategies to incorporate more visual content. Not only are images essential, but video has also become one of the most effective ways to reach and engage customers, the expert noted.

Recognizing the power of visuals in marketing, the next question Mr. Raj Mayyukh Dam addressed for businesses was, “How can you use images and videos to promote your brand most effectively?” His insights focused on areas such as image quality, storytelling through visuals, platform selection, and leveraging advertising opportunities on social media.

The workshop “The Art of Visual Branding” was successfully held, offering valuable content for businesses, professionals, and UEFers alike. Once again, UEF served as a strong bridge for businesses to meet, interact, and share experiences with each other. It is hoped that, through this event, UEF will establish new partnerships, contributing to practical training and creating internship and employment opportunities for students in the near future.
