UEF inaugurates smart classroom and Chinese cultural space

In an era of rapid technological advancement, integrating technology into education has become an essential trend, offering students innovative and comprehensive learning opportunities. This integration not only enhances teaching quality but also delivers multidimensional experiences that bridge cultures and connect global knowledge.
DECEMBER 31, UEF organized the inauguration and handover ceremony for its multifunctional classroom and Chinese cultural exhibition space. This project holds significant strategic importance in fostering the comprehensive development of students in the Chinese Language program at the university.

The ceremony was honored by the presence of Mr. Tu Chau - Deputy Consul General of the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Ho Chi Minh City; Ms. Trieu Khiet Nam - Deputy Consul of the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Wang Zhen Qiang, General Director of ALO360.COM Joint Stock Company.
Representing UEF were Mr. Do Quoc Anh - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors; Dr. Nhan Cam Tri - Vice President of the Board of Presidents; Dr. Ho Vien Phuong - Vice President of the Board of Presidents; Mr. Nguyen Van Manh - Deputy Chief of the University Office and Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan - Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Languages and International Cultures, Head of the Chinese Language.

The recently inaugurated multipurpose classroom is located on the 16th floor of UEF, campus 141, Dien Bien Phu

The multifunctional classroom is facilitated with advanced tools, including a lecturer’s computer, 15 student computers, an 86-inch touch-screen interactive whiteboard, a camera and speaker system, and specialized teaching software. By integrating both online and offline learning modes, the classroom enhances teaching and learning efficiency. Innovative features such as an automatic lecturer-tracking camera and live-streaming capabilities provide a smart, convenient, and globally aligned educational experience, meeting the demands of modern learners and the trends of globalization in education.

Additionally, the Chinese Cultural Exhibition area is designed as a space for cultural exchange, complete with a Chinese tea table, traditional costumes, musical instruments, and an 86-inch touch screen. This offers students an opportunity not only to access knowledge and language skills but also to gain a deeper understanding of China’s rich culture. It enriches their learning journey, broadens their perspectives, and enhances their cultural awareness.

At the signing and handover ceremony, Mr. Do Quoc Anh emphasized the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and China, particularly in the field of education. He mentioned that, with nearly 75 years of diplomatic relations, the two countries have achieved many significant accomplishments across various fields, with education being a key pillar. The multifunctional classroom and Chinese cultural exhibition space, worth 300,000 RMB (approximately 1.17 billion VND), symbolize the close partnership between UEF and its collaborators.

The project was implemented by ALO360.COM Joint Stock Company (a Chinese enterprise), which supplied the equipment from China. The company’s representative expressed their desire for the project to be used effectively, benefiting students in a practical way. This advanced system not only meets the learning needs but also serves as a cultural link, providing UEFers with opportunities to develop holistically in both knowledge and skills.
