The International Bachelor Programme for the 2024–2025 academic year officially commenced this morning
Attending the opening ceremony of the British and American Bachelor Programmes and witnessing the MOU signing between UEF and ICAEW were: Ms. Alexandra Smith, British Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City; Ms. Tran Nguyen Hanh Nguyen, Public Relations Specialist at the U.S. Consulate; Mr. Le Thang Loi, Standing Representative of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) Office in Ho Chi Minh City and Deputy Director in charge of the Southern Center for Education and Training Development under MOET; Mr. Nguyen Vinh Nghi, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Boxing Federation; Dr. Nguyen Chi Thang, Director of the Institute of International Education, HUTECH; Ms. Jo Evans, Principal of Sedbergh Vietnam; Prof. Gary Giss, Dean of International Programs, Keuka College; Ms. Dang Thi Mai Trang, Director of ICAEW Vietnam, along with senior leaders, managers of ICAEW Vietnam, and representatives of partner enterprises.

On UEF's side, the attendees included Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc, Vice President; Ms. Tran Phuong Quynh; Deputy Director of the Institute of International Education; Mr. Nguyen Ba Anh, Deputy Director of the UEF International Institute; along with representatives from Faculties, Institutes, Departments, Offices, and Centers.

This year, UEF, in collaboration with its partner universities—University of Gloucestershire (UK) and Keuka College (USA)—is offering six academic disciplines with three additional programmes planned. These are trend-oriented fields aligned with contemporary development needs and high global demand for skilled professionals, such as International Business, English Language and Linguistics, Business Administration and Marketing, Multimedia Communication, International Hospitality and Tourism Management, among others.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc extended warm congratulations to the new members of the International Bachelor Programme. He also expressed gratitude for the students' trust in choosing UEF, Gloucestershire, and Keuka as their academic partners in the journey of knowledge acquisition. The professor encouraged the students to study diligently, cultivate skills, acquire knowledge, and achieve outstanding success over the next four years of university life.

The journey of pursuing knowledge for students in the International Programme is further motivated by attractive scholarship policies. Additionally, to recognize the efforts and achievements of new students in academics, IELTS exams, and other accomplishments, UEF also honored and rewarded these students.

As part of the programme, UEF and ICAEW successfully signed an MOU, establishing a bilateral partnership. This event expanded UEF's network of international partners, promising many beneficial programmes for students in the near future, particularly those pursuing the fields of finance and accounting. With the presence and congratulations of numerous distinguished guests and students, the partnership between the two organizations is expected to grow stronger and more fruitful.
