UEF leadership visits partner university in Taiwan, further expanding international collaboration

NOVEMBER 4 - 8, Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc - UEF Vice President, conducted a business visit to Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT) in Taiwan, one of UEF’s long-standing strategic partners. This visit aimed to strengthen the partnership between the two institutions. Key activities included discussions on new collaboration opportunities, the signing of a long-term Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), and participation in guest lectures to share professional insights with both undergraduate and graduate international students at MCUT.

At MCUT, Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc received a warm welcome from the university’s President, Vice President, and leaders of various Departments, Faculties, and Centers. This spirit of openness and hospitality further strengthened the collaborative relationship between UEF and MCUT.

During the working session, UEF and MCUT engaged in in-depth discussions regarding future collaboration, proposing new international initiatives and enhancing student and faculty exchange programs to provide the highest value for learners.
Both institutions also agreed to sign a long-term MOU, establishing a foundation for collaborative activities in the coming years. This event marks a significant milestone in the exceptional partnership between UEF and MCUT, emphasizing an annual summer semester abroad program designed to facilitate academic exchange and learning experiences for students from both countries.

During the working trip, Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc also met with the leadership and experts from the Center for Artificial Intelligence & Data Science. The two sides discussed technological advancements, one of the key areas of education at MCUT, to exchange knowledge and gain insights into the modern digital environment of a prominent university in Taiwan.

Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc participated in teaching sessions and shared his experiences with international students currently studying and conducting research at MCUT. He covered topics such as business management, corporate leadership, and public speaking, which garnered significant interest and enthusiasm from the students and learners at MCUT.

At MCUT, Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc also had the opportunity to engage with several Vietnamese professors and UEF alumni currently studying and researching at the university.
