FEBRUARY 14 - UEF welcome representatives from Universitas Muhammadiyah Riau (UMRI) to discuss potential collaborations on international programs. The meeting focused on key topics related to study and internship opportunities for students in the Finance and Accounting fields.
The UMRI delegation included Mr. Mizan Asnawi – Dean, Ms. Wan Laura Hardilawati – Management, Ms. Rahayu Setianingsih – Management, Ms. Norra Isnasia Rahayu – Accounting Program, and Mr. Hendri Ali Ardi – Digital Business Program.
Representing UEF were Dr. Nhan Cam Tri – Vice President, Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc – Vice President, Dr. Ha Thi Thuy – Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, and MSc. Nguyen Thanh Lam – Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting.
During the meeting, Dr. Nhan Cam Tri highlighted UEF’s international programs, which enable students to participate in international semesters and internships in countries such as China, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
Representatives of the two sides discussed proposed cooperation contents
The Faculty of Finance and Accounting proposed several areas of collaboration, including student and lecturer exchange programs, scientific research cooperation, short-term international semesters, overseas internships, cultural exchange activities, international conferences and seminars, and participation in global competitions. Additionally, UEF expressed its willingness to welcome UMRI students to study at the university. In return, UMRI invited UEF representatives to visit their campus in Indonesia.
Based on the discussions, UEF and UMRI will continue to refine the details of each program, working towards implementing high-quality initiatives that benefit students from both universities.
