UEF signs an MOU with Dong Eui University, South Korea, to strengthen the mobility programs

MARCH 28 - UEF welcomed the leadership delegation of Dong Eui University, South Korea, for collaboration and MOU signing. The comprehensive partnership between the two universities unlocks opportunities to implement various advanced programs for students.

UEF signed MOU with Dong Eui University, expanding its partner universities system in South Korea

On behalf of the partner university were Mr. Mr. Han Soo Hwan, President; Mr. Lee Im Geun, Vice President; Mr. Bae Geum Kwang, Dean of International Affairs; Mr. Kim Kyeong Soo, General Manager, Office of the President; Mr. So Young Min, Assistant Manager, International Exchange Team; Mr. Kim Wanjin, Director of Dong-Eui University Local Office in Vietnam; Ms. Le Thi Kieu Loan, Project Manager.
Representing UEF were Dr. Nguyen Thanh Giang, President; Dr. Nhan Cam Tri, Vice President; Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc, Vice President; Prof. Dr. Eric Jose Olmedo Panal, Director of the International Institute; Dr. Nguyen Kim Thoa, Deputy Director of the International Institute; Ms. Pham Thi Thuy Linh, Deputy Dean of Faculty of Languages and International Cultures; and Dr. Bui Thi My Linh, Head of the Korean Language.
Upon delivering his speech at the event, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Giang, UEF President, emphasized the university’s goal of educational internationalization. In which aligns with the orientation towards international cooperation from Dong Eui University. This serves as the fundamental basis to establish the sustainable partnerships between the two universities and conduct numerous salutary activities for students.

Regarding the partner’s representative, Mr. Han Soo Hwan, President, provided the university’s outstanding information and wished to strengthen collaboration with UEF.

The two universities signed MOU

Following signing MOU, representatives of the both universities discussed contents that will be promoted in the upcoming time. Particularly, the second year (2+2) or third year (3+1) of degree study, student mobility in a semester, 6-month, or an academic year. In addition to Korean-taught subjects, UEFers can also study English-taught subjects in South Korea and have opportunities to gain practical good practices at enterprises.

On the other hand, UEF made proposals on internship programs for students of Dong Eui University upon coming to Vietnam. At the same time, implementing cultural learning and exchange activities between the two countries.

The two universities have officially signed an MOU for cooperation, believing that many advanced programs will be implemented for students, creating opportunities for learning, training, and fostering a globally integrated mindset.
