OCTOBER 17, UEF signed an MOU with The Hotel School Australia (THS), further expanding and enhancing the quality of international programs for students in the tourism and hospitality sectors. During the event, students also had the opportunity to learn about the partner school's curriculum and the essential skills needed to thrive in an international environment.
Representing THS at the signing ceremony were Mr. Tim Rudling - Director International, and Ms. Uyen Trinh - Regional Manager - Vietnam and Cambodia.
Representing UEF were Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc - Vice President, Dr. Ngo Minh Hai - Vice President, Prof. Dr. Eric Jose Olmedo Panal - Director of the UEF International Institute and Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Mr. Nguyen Viet Thuy - Deputy Dean, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Chi - Head of Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, along with other faculty members.
Prof. Dr. Eric Jose Olmedo Panal emphasized the value of the partnership with THS in the field of tourism and hospitality, expressing hope for a strong collaboration to implement meaningful programs for students.
Mr. Tim Rudding, representing THS, highlighted the potential growth of the tourism and hospitality sector in Vietnam and emphasized that the collaboration with UEF would contribute to training high-quality human resources. He also expressed his desire for a sustainable partnership with UEF in the future.
Prior to the signing ceremony, representatives from the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management had a working session with THS. Both sides discussed potential areas of collaboration, including 2+2 joint programs, international semesters, student exchanges, events, and academic activities such as scientific research. Additionally, UEFers will have opportunities to work in Australia after graduation.

Through the partnership with THS, UEFers now have access to an international learning environment, enabling them to hone their skills, gain professional expertise, and develop holistically. This collaboration helps students achieve their career goals and prepares them for success in the global service industry.
