As the new academic year kicks off, UEF's international exchange and study programme started with great excitement as The university welcomed a delegation of students from Meiji University, Japan, on the morning of September 4th. This activity is part of the "Go Global - Your Dream" programme, organized in collaboration between GA Consultant and the Faculty of International Languages and Cultures.
Participating in the programme from UEF were Dr. Vo Van Thanh Than, Director of the Vietnam-Japan Human Resource Development Center, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Languages and International Cultures; Mr. Cao Đỗ Quyền, Assistant in the Japanese Language programme, along with lecturers from the Japanese Language Department.
From Meiji University, present were Mr. Yamada Toru, Mr. Taki Akitoshi, and Mr. Negishi Kazuki. Representing G.A. Consultants in Vietnam were Mr. Ibusuki Yusuke and Mrs. Ma Thai Vy.
During the exchange, students from both sides delivered presentations about their countries as well as the universities they are currently attending.
Regarding the "Go Global - Your Dream" programme, groups consisting of UEF students with a proficiency of N3 (or equivalent Japanese language skills) will collaborate with students from Meiji University to work on a project. Each group will develop questionnaires and conduct surveys on topics such as "dreams" and "future careers," among others.
SEPTEMBER 6, the students will present their projects, with each group having a maximum of 20 minutes, including 10 minutes for the group presentation and 1 minute for each individual's presentation. Before presenting their projects, the students must conduct surveys and participate in other real-life activities, such as visiting shelters and interacting with children from preschool age and younger.
The "Go Global - Your Dream" program has been successfully organized multiple times and continues to this day with the goal of helping UEF students enhance and develop their Japanese language skills. Moreover, this activity helps students build confidence, strengthen their international integration skills, and practice essential soft skills.
