UEFers win the student mobility scholarship of Chungbuk National University, South Korea

With a spirit of continuous learning and international integration, UEFers continue to prove their capabilities in global academic environments. Recently, Nguyen Ngoc Minh Trang – a student majoring in the Korean Language – has excellently earned a students mobility scholarship at Chungbuk National University (South Korea), unlocking opportunities for study, experience, and personal development in a professional international setting.
With outstanding academic performance and active participation in extracurricular activities, Minh Trang surpassed many strong candidates to earn this scholarship. This achievement is not only a recognition of her persistent efforts but also serves as a testament to the quality of education and the international integration orientation of UEF.

Minh Trang has been studying in South Korea for over a month

In early March, representatives from UEF’s International Institute were present at Tan Son Nhat Airport to see Minh Trang off on her new journey. The support and encouragement from the university gave her the confidence to embark on this new chapter.
During her six-month stay, Minh Trang will experience a blended teaching approach that combines theory and practice at Chungbuk National University. This is a valuable opportunity for her to enrich her knowledge in Korean translation and interpretation, enhance intercultural communication skills, and broaden her global perspective. In addition to academic courses, Trang will also take part in various exchange activities with both Korean and international students organized by the university. These experiences will help her expand her network, boost her confidence, and strengthen her adaptability and proactive mindset in a multicultural environment.

Sharing her experiences during the first days in South Korea, Minh Trang said: “Although I faced some initial challenges, such as language barriers and differences in learning methods, I gradually adapted over time and grew significantly. This journey has truly been memorable and meaningful in my student life.”
