UEFers from Tourism and Hospitality Gain Insights into Japan Internships

OCTOBER 24, UEF Center of Vietnam-Japan Human Resources Development organized a sharing session with students from the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management (FTHM). The event aimed to provide students with a comprehensive overview of the valuable experiences offered by international internships.


The programme was attended by Mr. Vo Van Thanh Than, Director of the Vietnam-Japan Human Resource Development Center; Mr. Nguyen Thai Ha, Deputy Director of the Center of Corporate Partnerships; Mr. Nguyen Viet Thuy, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management; and Mr. Cao Do Quyen, Assistant for the Japanese Language Programme.

For the international internship programme in Japan, numerous internship opportunities are available in the restaurant, hospitality, and tourism sectors. This provides an excellent opportunity for FTHM students to enhance their professional skills and gain valuable experience in a highly professional international environment.

During the information session, faculty members provided students with detailed insights into the paid internship programme in Japan. They emphasized that this opportunity allows students to gain hands-on experience, broaden their horizons, learn a new language, and work in a country renowned for its advanced technology. Moreover, international internships serve as a "springboard" for students to enter the global labor market with confidence.

Interview sessions will be regularly organized in accordance with UEF's and its partners' schedules. Notably, for successful candidates, the university will offer free preparatory courses to help them enhance their language proficiency, learn essential information, and develop skills suited to Japanese culture.

Through the insights shared during the session, it is hoped that students from the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management will gain the confidence and courage to pursue international opportunities, improve themselves, and accumulate valuable experiences and meaningful life lessons.
