UK Study Abroad Seminar: An International Education Experience at the University of Gloucestershire

As studying abroad becomes a dream for many young people, having adequate information and clear guidance is key to making access to advanced education more attainable. Recognizing this need, UEF’s Institute of International Education will host the seminar “UK Pathway: Scholarships and Study at the University of Gloucestershire” on November 7. The programme will provide valuable study abroad information and serve as a foundation for students to turn their dreams of studying overseas into reality.

With the participation of Ms. Dho'un Azahari (Yong), International Development Advisor at the University of Gloucestershire, and MSc. Nguyen Thien Minh Thao, UEF International Collaboration Officer, the seminar will provide a comprehensive overview of study abroad opportunities in the UK through the 2+2 and 3+1 transfer programmes. These pathways not only shorten study duration and reduce costs but also allow students to experience high-quality education systems in both countries. By beginning their studies at UEF, students can build a strong foundational knowledge before continuing to explore the international learning environment at the University of Gloucestershire.

Additionally, students will have the opportunity to receive scholarships and financial support, enabling them to confidently pursue their academic journey. For many, access to financial aid packages not only alleviates economic pressure but also opens doors to experiencing life in a developed country at a more affordable cost. Moreover, UEFers will receive detailed guidance to complete their applications smoothly and embark on an exciting learning journey.

Within the framework of the seminar, students will also gain insights into the culture and lifestyle of international students in the UK, from active learning approaches to experiences outside the classroom. This helps students adapt quickly, develop cross-cultural thinking and communication skills, and gain a competitive edge in today's era of global integration.

The programme will take place at 9:00 AM on November 7, 2024, in Democracy 3.10, at 141 Dien Bien Phu campus. The seminar is not just an information session but also an opportunity to hear inspiring stories and unlock new development opportunities, planting the seeds for dreams of studying abroad and international integration.
