A warm gathering for the students attending the international summer camp
The summer camp unites students, from five different nations, with UEF as the only Vietnamese university selected for this unique learning and experiential opportunity. The 21 students not only represent their university but also serve as ambassadors for Vietnamese students, showcasing their dynamic spirit and eagerness to learn. The 14-day camp is packed with enriching activities, including academic studies, cultural exchanges, and explorations of local sights and cuisine, etc.
UEFers focused on the sharings and found answers to their wonders.
At the beginning of the event, Dr. Nguyen Hong Nhung gave a brief overview of the summer camp. This was a valuable opportunity for UEFers to engage in international learning, gain experience, and participate in cultural exchange, particularly in a country renowned for its robust economy and rich cultural heritage. She then outlined the departure date, itinerary, language considerations, and other details. Additionally, she noted that the trip would not be limited to students from the Chinese Language department, but would also include participants from various faculties, such as Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance and Banking, and Tourism and Hospitality Management, etc.
Dr. Nguyen Hong Nhung reminded students of the departure schedule.
During the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan provided a comprehensive guide on the necessary documents and immigration procedures. She emphasized that these are crucial initial steps, and students should aim to complete them promptly and accurately to avoid delays for the entire group. Additionally, she listed essential items and thoroughly advised on various aspects of the trip. Furthermore, Dr. Lan recommended interesting locations at the campsite where UEFers could make the most of their leisure time, exploring freely and enriching their experience during this special overseas trip.
Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan covered other details of the trip and wished UEFers the trip filled with valuable experiences.
To conclude the ceremony, representatives from both faculties shared their best wishes and encouraged students to maintain their spirit of unity and learning. It is hoped that by the end of this journey, students will gain valuable experiences that will help them grow personally and expand their international networks. The summer camp will take place at Guangxi University, China, from August 24 to September 6.
